Ration Card Holders: Wheat, rice along with millet will be distributed to card holders at 350 government ration shops in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh from the month of February. Supply Inspector Bhaskar Mishra said that about 12900 quintals of millet has been demanded.
Told that the quantity of wheat and rice available to cardholders has been reduced and coarse grains have been included. The government intends to include ancient grains in the diet. People are made aware about this in various government programs. Now the government, taking its own initiative, has prepared a plan to distribute food grains from government ration shops.
Antyodaya card holders will get 11 kg ration
The 21 kg rice per unit available to Antyodaya cardholders will be reduced to 11 kg. 10 kg millet will be given to them. Cardholders of eligible households will get three kilograms of rice per unit, which will be reduced to one kilogram, and they will get two kilograms of millet. The number of Antyodaya cardholders in the area is 10501, while the eligible household cardholders are 132161.
Millet will be distributed at government ration shops from the month of February. A demand has been sent for this. By reducing the quantity of rice per unit, the same quantity of millet will be distributed to the cardholders. – Bhaskar Mishra, Supply Inspector
