Linking Aadhaar to mobile is necessary: If the officers of Civil Supplies Department are to be believed, then all the card holders are required to link their Aadhar card to mobile number for rationing. This is so that OTP can be sent on mobile. Talking about this decision, the work has been done in accordance with the guidelines of the order issued by the High Court. This decision was taken by the court after hearing the petition filed. The petitioner had feared the spread of corona infection due to biometric authentication, on which the court gave this order during the hearing.
