During the Corona period, the distribution of free ration for the first phase of June started from Thursday (today). Ration distribution will start simultaneously at 1268 ration shops of Agra district. The government has implemented corona guidelines in the distribution of ration during the Corona period. According to the last digit of the ration card number, distribution will be done from May 20 to 28. From June 13 to 15, those who take ration from portability will get food grains. Wheat and rice will be given on 31 lakh units of 7.32 lakh cards of the district in 13 days.
District Supply Officer Umesh Chandra Mishra said that ration distribution will start from 6 am on Thursday. Cardholders will get ration in the presence of nodal officers at 373 shops in urban areas and 895 in rural areas. On May 20, those whose last digit of the card number is zero will get ration. Whereas on 21st May the last number will be 1st, 22nd May to the last number 2, 23rd May to the last number 3, 24th May to the last number 4, 25th May to the last number 5, 26th May to the last number. Those with number 6, on May 27 the last number 7, on May 28 the last number 8 and on May 29 the last number 9 will get ration. Ration distribution will happen till 9 pm.
