RBI i.e. Reserve Bank of India has issued a warning for all the people of the country. The Reserve Bank is sending a text message to the people and asking them to be cautious. This warning is especially for those people who use WhatsApp. As we all know that cases of cyber fraud, cyber crimes are increasing rapidly in the country. Along with the central government, the governments of all the states are also making all efforts according to their capacity to curb the cases of cyber fraud. But, the cases of cyber fraud will not decrease until we ourselves become alert.
What did the Reserve Bank of India say in its warning

The Reserve Bank of India has warned people by appealing them to be cautious of digital arrest. The Reserve Bank has written in its message, “Are you being threatened with digital arrest? There is nothing like digital arrest in the law. Do not share personal or financial information or make money payments. Call 1930 for help.”

Cases of digital arrest are increasing rapidly in the country
Let us tell you that criminals are making video calls to people on WhatsApp and extorting huge amounts of money from them by threatening to digitally arrest them. Due to crimes like digital arrest, people have not only lost crores of rupees but some people have also lost their lives due to panic. RBI has clearly stated that there is no such thing as digital arrest in the law of India. If someone calls you on WhatsApp or any other video call application and threatens to digitally arrest you, then first disconnect his phone and call the central helpline number 1930 of cyber crime and give full information about it.
