AKTU New Re-Exam Policy: UP’s Dr. Abdul Kam Technical University has announced a big relief for the students who fail in any subject in their final year examination. The university has announced that now the students who fail will not have to wait for a year to take the exam again. Students will be able to complete their course in the same year by giving computer based carryover examination in the same year.
The questions will be multiple choice
This exam will be based on the process of multiple choice questions. Due to this computerized process, not only will the examination process be faster, but the students will also be saved from wasting their year by releasing the result in a few days. Talking about the figures, every year a large number of students give carryover examinations. Because of them there is a lot of pressure on the examination department of the university. The burden of the department will also be reduced due to online examination.
The paper will be prepared with the help of Artificial Intelligence
Work on this plan has already started. According to the university officials, during this process, the paper will be prepared with the help of Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI. At present, the experts of the university are engaged in this work. With the help of AI, different questions will be asked from each student, due to which there will be no scope for cheating.
The system will be implemented for every semester
The AKTU administration says that this system of computer-based carryover examination will be implemented first in the final year. After this, it will be started in the remaining semesters as well. For this work, an agency will be selected and its help will be taken which will help in everything from making the paper to setting the questions.
Students will benefit
After the implementation of this new system, final year students will benefit a lot. This is because till now, students who failed in the final year had to wait for the next year to give the paper of the concerned subject. Due to this, one year of theirs was wasted. Also, their placement used to get delayed.
Time wasted in evaluation will be saved
Due to the length of the entire examination process, time was also wasted. It used to take one to two months to prepare the question papers, conduct the examination and evaluate it. Also, due to these examinations, other examinations used to get delayed. But now we will get relief from this.
