Read This Important News! Digital Voter card: Things you need about digital voter card, from login to downloading

On the occasion of National Voters’ Day on 25 January, the Election Commission has given the facility to download the Digital Voter ID card. The digital voter ID card will be downloaded in PDF format. The digital format copy of the voter ID card will be like e-Aadhaar which cannot be edited.




The most important thing for you here is that till 31 January only those people who have applied for their voter card in PDF can apply in November and December last year, while for all people this facility will start from 1 February 2021. A fee of Rs 25 is currently being charged for downloading a digital copy of the voter ID card.

How to download digital voter card?

  • Go to voterportal.eci.gov.in and create an account with mobile number, email ID.
  • Login and select Download e-EPIC option.
  • Enter Voter Card Number (EPIC)
  • Insert mobile OTP
  • Now click on Download EPIC
  • Your voter card will be downloaded in PDF

The thing to note here is that you will be able to download the digital voter ID card only when your KYC is completed. You can also do KYC with mobile number by login to the voter portal. Please tell that without mobile number you cannot download the voter card.

There are two ways to download a digital copy of a voter card. The first mobile app (Voter Helpline) and the second from the Election Commission website. If the phone does not have an app, download it or go to the Commission’s website and login with a mobile number or email ID.
