Jio’s 5G users are getting this much speed
Based on customer feedback, Jio said that users are experiencing speeds between 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps on their smartphones and “they are using huge amounts of data.”
According to Jio, there are three benefits of its 5G services. First it is based on “Stand-alone 5G Architecture with Advanced 5G Network with Zero Dependency on 4G Network”. Second, it has the “biggest and best mix of 5G spectrum” in the 700 MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz bands. The third advantage is that it comes with a carrier aggregation, which “easily combines these 5G frequencies into a single data highway”.
Jio to launch 5G across the country by December 2023
A note released on the Jio portal states that the company is targeting to reach Jio 5G in ‘every city, every taluka and every tehsil’ of the country by December 2023.
