Now Jio’s data top-up plan will not be available for Rs 15, but for Rs 19. Customers will have to pay Rs 19 for 1GB data, which was earlier available for Rs 15.

Jio’s cheapest prepaid plan was Rs 155, which has been increased to Rs 189. Now Jio’s data top-up plan will not be available for Rs 15, but for Rs 19. Customers will have to pay Rs 19 for 1GB data, which was earlier available for Rs 15. Jio has increased the tariff of its 19 plans, which include 17 prepaid plans and two postpaid options.

New rate of postpaid plan
Postpaid plans are also expensive. The Rs 299 plan that offers 30GB data now costs Rs 349 for the billing cycle. The Rs 399 plan with 75GB data is now priced at Rs 449.
Jio launched new services – GeoSafe and GeoTranslate
Along with the tariff hike, Jio has also announced JioSafe and JioTranslate. JioSafe is a quantum-safe app for calling, messaging, file transfer and will be available at a monthly cost of Rs 199. JioTranslate is an app for translating voice calls, voice messages, text and images at Rs 99 per month.
