Srinagar: Security forces have killed three terrorists in an encounter that took place in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir last night. All three terrorists belonged to the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Mudassir Pandit, who was involved in the attack on the police and the CRPF team, has also been killed in the encounter. On June 12, 3 policemen and 2 civilians were killed in this terrorist attack in Sopore.

Vijay Kumar said that the killed terrorists also included a Pakistani national Asrar alias Abdullah who was active in North Kashmir since 2018. He has described the death of Lashkar terrorist Mudassir as a big relief for the common people.

Let us tell you that on June 12, in Sopore itself, a joint team of police and CRPF was attacked at a block in Arampura. Three policemen were martyred in this attack. At the same time, 2 other policemen were also injured. Apart from this, 2 civilians also died in this terrorist attack.
Policeman killed 3 days ago
Earlier on Thursday too, terrorists shot and killed a policeman. The jawan was not on duty when the incident took place. In Saidpora locality of Idgah area of Srinagar, terrorists shot and seriously injured constable Javed Ahmed near his house. He was taken to SKIMS Hospital in nearby Shoura where doctors declared him brought dead.
