Anganwadi workers are getting increased honorarium
Let us tell you that the honorarium of Anganwadi workers is already being increased from Rs 6,500 per month to Rs 10,000. Similarly, the honorarium of Anganwadi helpers has been increased from Rs 3,250 to Rs 5,000 and the honorarium of mini Anganwadi workers has been increased from Rs 4,500 to Rs 7,500 per month.
Provision for lump sum payment also
Apart from this, there is also a provision for ex-gratia amount on death and lump sum payment on retirement for Anganwadi workers and assistants. At the same time, on the death of Anganwadi workers and helpers, the ex-gratia amount has been increased to Rs 50 thousand. Similarly, on retirement, there is a provision for payment of Rs 50 thousand to Anganwadi workers and Rs 25 thousand to helpers.
