RRB Recruitment 2021: Vacancies have come out in many posts in the Railways for the people looking for government jobs (Sarkari Naukri). Southern Railway has invited applications for the post of Apprentice in various Divisions/Workshops/Units. Recruitment will be done on 3,378 posts by the Railways. Online applications have started for these posts. 10th pass candidates can apply for recruitment to these posts. Eligibility
To apply for the post of Fitter, Painter and Welder, you should have passed 10th (Matriculation) with at least 50% marks from any recognized board. Whereas to apply for Medical Lab Technician (Radiology, Pathology, Cardiology) posts, one should have passed 12th (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50 percent marks. Also, ITI course should be passed in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Age limit
Interested candidates must be at least 15 years of age and fresher or pre-ITI, candidates not more than 22 or 24 years of age respectively cannot apply for MLT.
Application fee
General category candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. Whereas no fee will be charged from SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates.
Selection will be like this
Those in ex-ITI category will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in 10th and ITI. At the same time, the selection for MLT post will be done on the basis of marks obtained in 12th.
