New Delhi: Now for motor vehicle documents like Driving License (DL), Registration Certificate (RC), there will be no need to visit RTO and waste time by standing in long lines. DL, RC services online
People of Delhi will get the documents related to driving license and registration certificate online from the website of RTO. For this, whatever documents are required can be downloaded by visiting the RTO website www.transport.delhi.gov.in. Apart from this, the Delhi government has also issued a helpline number 1076, on which all information related to online services can be taken. Terming it as a gift of 75th anniversary of Independence, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched this faceless transport services system today. Driving license will be made ‘faceless’ sitting at home!
Now the license will be renewed under Faceless Transport Services while sitting at home. Learning license will be generated by giving test at home itself, duplicate DL will be created. Most of the services will be covered under this system except for the Permanent Driving Test and the vehicle fitness test. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said that now people do not need to stand in lines in zonal offices. He said that the Delhi government was preparing for the new system for a long time and trials were also being done. What services will be available from the faceless system?

Now you can give online test from home, office also
E-learning license will now be available at home. You can give online test at home, office or educational institution. If someone passes the test then his/her learning license will be generated immediately. NIC has prepared a system for this. Face recognition software has been developed. The photo of the test taker will be captured through the software of NIC. Now the photo which will be on the Aadhar card, the software of NIC will match that photo. If the photo will not match or if someone does not want to give the Aadhaar number, then they will not be able to give the test sitting at home. Please make it easier for e-challan payment also. In some cases e-challan is shown to be pending with virtual court. It would be welcomed if the e-challan is compounded on payment towards e-challan to be made against is shown. It would not only facilitate payment by the individual but also the transport authority in clearance of the old e-challans.
