Rule Change From 1 March: There are going to be changes in many important rules from the beginning of next month. This includes many important rules including LPG and Fastag.

Rule Change: Some new government rules come into effect from the beginning of every month. This time too, many such rules are coming into effect from March 1, which will directly impact your pocket. These rules include Fastag, LPG gas cylinder and social media.

LPG Prices

At the beginning of every month, the price of LPG is reviewed by the government and new prices are released. In the beginning of February, the price of LPG was kept the same. The rate of 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder is Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai, Rs 1055.50 in Bengaluru, Rs 1068.50 in Chennai and Rs 1,105.00 per cylinder in Hyderabad.

Fastag

The last date for updating KYC of Fastag has been set by the National Highway Authorities of India (NHAI) as 29th February. If you do not complete the KYC of your Fastag by this date, your Fastag can be deactivated and blacklisted by the National Highway Authorities of India. In such a situation, get your Fastag KYC done before 29th February.

Social media

The government has recently changed IT rules. After this, social media apps like X, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram will have to follow these rules. If any news is circulated on social media with wrong facts since March, fine will be imposed for it. The government’s effort is to make social media safe through this.

Bank holiday

Public and private sector banks will remain closed for about 12 days in March 2024. This also includes the two Saturday and Sunday holidays. According to the holiday calendar released by RBI, banks will remain closed on March 11 and 25 being the second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, there will be holidays in banks on 5, 12, 19 and 26 due to Sunday.
