In the information given by the Union Ministry of Cooperatives, it was told that the co-operative societies of Sahara Group – Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited are valid on behalf of the actual depositors. Portal has been developed for submission of claims.

The government had recently announced to return the money of 10 crore investors within nine months. Amit Shah said in his tweet that tomorrow is a special day for those whose money was stuck in Sahara’s cooperative societies for many years.

He said, the commitment of the Ministry of Cooperatives under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi will give relief to all those people who are waiting to get back their hard earned money.
