This portal was launched by Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. In just four days of the portal launching, more than five lakh investors had registered on it. If your money is also stuck in Sahara Group, then you should also register on Sahara Portal. For this you will need some important documents.

Required for registration on Sahara Refund Portal Document

  • Membership number,
  • Aadhar card,
  • Account number of the deposit,
  • Mobile number which is linked with Aadhaar card,
  • Deposit certificate,
  • It is necessary that the registered mobile number should be linked with the bank account.

With all these documents, you will have to register by visiting the Sahara Refund Portal. When you fill and submit the form, you will get the enrollment number. Along with this, a message will also be sent to your current registered mobile for confirmation.

Refund will come in bank accounts

For Sahara Refund Portal, it has been said by the Central Government that the money will be returned to the investors’ account within 45 days of registration on the portal. Through this, the money of about four crore investors will be returned. Although the government has imposed a cap for this also. In the first phase, an investor is being told to return only ten thousand.

Money will be given first to those investors whose investment is ten thousand rupees. Those who have more than ten thousand will also be returned only ten thousand rupees in the first phase. More than ten crore people have invested in Sahara group. Through refund, the process is being done to return the money of the investors who invested in cooperative societies of Sahara like Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.
