CRCS Sahara Refund Portal: Government launches a portal for refund of investors’ money
Central government has launched CRCS Sahara refund portal for Sahara investors to get back their stuck money. Through this portal, the government will return crores of rupees to the investors.
Features and essential information
- Investors of Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited are allowed to use this portal only for refund of their money.
- To know in which committees of Sahara group the money has been invested, investors will have to first find out.
- If the claim amount is more than Rs 50,000 then PAN number is also required.
- Prepare all the required documents before applying.
Application Process
- Visit CRCS Sahara Refund Portal: https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/
Register to apply and fill in the required information. - Enter your Aadhaar number and mobile number linked to it and click on Send OTP.
- Enter the received OTP and complete the process.
- Fill your information and all the information related to the society and get the money in your bank account.
under the orders of the Supreme Court
This portal is being run under the order of the Supreme Court, in which about three crore investors have been refunded their trapped money. As per the SEBI report, 19,650 applications involving 53,687 accounts have been received, out of which 17,526 applications have received a total refund of Rs 138.07 crore including taxes.
