Cashback up to Rs 10,000
First let us tell about the Sahara India refund portal through which this will be possible. It was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday. Under this, about 4 crore investors of four co-operative societies of Sahara will be able to get their money back, whose investment maturity has been completed. The government has imposed a cap of Rs 10,000 on the money to be refunded. That is, in the first phase, the deposit amount will be returned to those investors whose investment is Rs 10,000. Not only this, investors who have a large amount of deposit, they can be returned only up to Rs 10,000 out of their total investment. In this way, preparations have been made to return the amount of Rs 5,000 crore.
Money will come in the account in 45 days
The way to get your deposit back through Sahara Refund Portal is very easy and for this neither you will have to pay any fee nor you will have to take the help of any agent. Investors can register their names by login to this portal themselves and after verification the refund process will start. This entire process of refunding the money will be completed in 45 days. In fact, after applying, the documents of Sahara India investors will be verified by the committees of Sahara Group in 30 days and those investors will be informed through SMS within 15 days of filing online claim.
Understand the whole process in easy steps
- The investor has to visit https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/ portal.
- When the homepage opens, the Investor ‘Depositor Registration’ option will appear, click on it.
- Now enter your Aadhaar number on the new page and enter the registered mobile number.
- After this fill the captcha code given below and click on the Get OTP option.
- After doing this, OTP will come on the mobile number you have entered, enter it.
- In this way the process of registration on your portal will be completed, after that come back to the homepage.
- To login, you have to select the ‘Depositor Login’ option.
- Here you have to enter your mobile number by entering the last four digits of your Aadhaar number.
- Then by filling the captcha code, the option to get OTP has to be selected, now fill the OTP received on the mobile.
- When the new page opens, read the guidelines given here thoroughly and click on ‘I agree’.
- After this, the name and date of birth (DOB) of your bank will appear, then go to the deposit certificate form from here.
- Now the claim request form has to be filled, in which enter the name of the co-operative society, membership number, deposit amount.
- After verifying all the information entered by you, download the claim letter on the portal.
- Paste your passport size photo and sign on it, then scan and upload it.
- After uploading, a confirmation message will be received on your registered mobile number.
- Refund amount will be transferred to your account in 45 days after receiving the confirmation message.
Visit CSC center if needed
Through the mentioned steps, you can easily get back your trapped money by applying on Sahara Refund Portal. Means freedom from the hassle of going round the offices. However, if the applicant faces any problem while applying through the portal, then he/she can visit the nearest CSC center to complete the process.
