Himachal government will also implement new pay commission
According to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Punjab has decided to implement the new Pay Commission, so Himachal government will implement it. The state government will give the benefit of this to the employees. For this, a meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee will be called and will solve the problems of the employees prominently.
2402 crore rupees benefits in 3 years
The Chief Minister said that the state government has given benefits of Rs 2402 crore to the employees and pensioners of the state in 3 years. Financial assistance of Rs. 1140 crores has been given to the employees in the form of dearness allowance.
Gratuity amount increased
The government has increased the retirement and gratuity for the employees of the new pension scheme, who retire from the year 2003 to 2017. With this, they have been given benefits of about Rs 110 crore. According to the Chief Minister, the state government has decided to increase the state’s share of basic salary, dearness allowance and NPA from 10 percent to 14 percent under the new pension scheme.
20 thousand crore rupees will be spent
Jairam Thakur said that in the budget of FY 2021-22, 20 thousand crores will be spent on the salary and pension of the employees. He thanked the employees for playing a commendable role during the Corona epidemic.
