On the initiative of the CM, the demand of salary hike of the committee employees which was pending for 6 years was fulfilled by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies within 24 hours and the salary and allowances of the committee employees were increased by 25 percent.
CG Employees: After the sensitive initiative of Vishnu Sai government of Chhattisgarh, the 6-year-old demand of the managers and employees of the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society has been fulfilled in 24 hours. For the first time after the year 2018, the salary and allowances of about 13 thousand employees of cooperative societies have been increased by 25 percent, with this the employees have also ended the strike.
On the sensitive initiative of CM Vishnu Dev Sai, the strike of the managers and employees of the committees ended. The demand for salary increase pending for 6 years of the committee employees was fulfilled by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies within 24 hours and the salary and allowances of the committee employees were increased by 25 percent. In relation to the other 2 demands, appropriate action is being taken by forming an inter-departmental committee at the government level. Earlier, the increase was made in the year 2018.

In compliance with the instructions of the Chief Minister, orders were issued by the Commissioner of Cooperative Department on 11 November 2024 to amend the Cooperative Society Employees Service Rules. In this, a 25 percent increase in the salary and allowances of the employees of the committee has been approved. A letter to this effect has also been issued by the Food Department that within one month of the end of paddy procurement, paddy will be lifted by the Rice Millers and Marketing Federation, if even after this paddy remains in the procurement centers, then the proposal regarding giving paddy drying to the cooperative societies will be sent by the Food Department to the Finance Department.
Consideration on other two demands also
In relation to the resolution of other demands of the employees, an inter-departmental committee has been constituted, including the Food Department, Finance Department, Agriculture Department, Cooperative Department and Marketing Federation, which will consider the demand of the Employees Union and send a proposal to the government for resolution. With this, all the employees have returned to work in their respective committees and have started making proper arrangements for the purchase of paddy starting from 14 November 2024.
The employees have also assured that the farmers will not face any kind of difficulty during paddy procurement. All necessary preparations will be completed in the paddy procurement centers by 13 November 2024. The Commissioner of Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies have given instructions to all the departmental employees-officers to make paddy procurement smoothly with transparency.
