New Delhi: Thousands of employees of UP have been given the gift of good work. His salary is going to increase before Holi. These employees have been given a gift of four percent increase in dearness allowance.
This decision was taken after the fifth meeting of the Jal Nigam (Rural) Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Anurag Srivastava on Wednesday. According to previous government orders, at present 196 percent dearness relief is being given to the employees.
Keeping in view the financial resources of the employees of Jal Nigam Gramin, a proposal was made before the Principal Secretary to give four percent relief in dearness allowance and increase it to 200 percent.
This increase will put an additional burden of about Rs 6 crore on the budget of Jal Nigam Gramin. 3265 employees and 7596 pensioners will benefit from this. The increased salary will be applicable from March 1.
The fifth board meeting of the corporation was held in the headquarters auditorium on Wednesday. Apart from the Principal Secretary, Managing Director of Jal Nigam Gramin Dr. Balkar Singh, board members Brijraj Yadav, Rajesh Prajapati and Arun Kumar were present.
Salary increase will be like this
For example, if an employee’s current salary is ₹ 25,000, then after the increase in DA by four percent, his salary will increase by ₹ 1,000. Similarly, the salary will keep increasing in ascending order.
3265 employees and 7596 pensioners will get the benefit of this increase. The budget will cost Rs 21 lakh per month on the salaries of employees and Rs 29 lakh on pensioners.
A total additional budget expenditure of Rs 50 lakh monthly and Rs 6 crore annually will be incurred. Apart from this, a proposal has also been passed in the board meeting regarding the budget for the maintenance of the office of Jal Nigam Gramin.
