For the moment, it should be noted : Central employees and pensioners get dearness allowance at the rate of 21 percent, but currently it is getting 17 percent. The Modi government at the Center has implemented this system till June 2021. According to the news, after June 2021, the government can work to give relief on dearness allowance. If the government takes some decision on this, then both the salary and pension will increase to the employees. Discuss here that the central government increases the dearness allowance on January 1 and July 1. According to the media report, the central government can take a decision in its next meeting to increase the salary.

Why Dearness Allowance is given: Due to increase in inflation, there is no adverse effect on the standard of living of the employees working under the government, so the government works to pay DA on fixed period. It is worth mentioning that according to the trend so far, the central government increases the dearness allowance on January 1 and July 1. This arrangement is implemented under the 7th Pay Commission.
