In the year 1994, a multi-starrer family drama film was made at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore, which was liked by the people. The film made a bumper collection of Rs 250 crore and broke many records at the box office. But very few people know that on the sets of this film the actress did not even drink water out of fear.

After all, why did the actress not drink water on the set?

The name of the film we are talking about is ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’. In an interview, Salman Khan’s onscreen ‘sister-in-law’ Renuka Shahane had revealed that she used to avoid even drinking water during the shooting of the film. Once the film’s second actress Madhuri Dixit noticed this. Renuka told that there was no washroom on the set where the shooting of the film was taking place. That’s why she used to shy away from drinking water. When Madhuri noticed this, she advised her.

Madhuri’s advice ended Renuka’s problems.

Renuka told in the interview that ‘Madhuri told me that even if there is a problem of washroom on the set, one should not drink less water. Because it can cause skin problems. Do not drink less water even when you are on an outdoor shoot. We will manage by taking four women along with us on the set, but drinking less water can increase the problems.

For how many days did the actress not drink water?

Renuka says that ‘at that time the lights of the set used to sting her a lot. The reflectors were also very hard and if one did not drink water, there could be a problem of dehydration. In such a situation, Madhuri’s advice was quite valuable. Because at that time I did not drink water on the set for two days. When I reached the hotel, I would get some rest.
