New Delhi: Santoor Scholarship Scheme 2021: Wipro Consumer Care & Wipro Cares had started Santoor Scholarship Program in 2016-17 session. The objective of the scheme is to help the economically weaker girls. Girls who wish to study in college after 12th get the benefit of this scheme.
900 students get benefit
Under this scheme, more than 900 girl students of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka are given financial assistance for higher education every year. Under the scheme, scholarship is provided to the girl students.
They will get priority (Santoor Scholarship Priority)
In the last four years, 3600 students have been assisted under the ‘Santoor Scholarship Scheme – 2021’. Along with professional courses, girl students taking admission in Humanities, Liberal Arts and Science will also be helped under this scheme. Priority will be given to girl students of backward districts under the scheme.
Santoor Scholarship Eligibility
Under the Santoor Scholarship Scheme, priority will be given to the girl students of underprivileged and disadvantaged areas. These qualifications are also necessary under the scholarship scheme.
- The scholarship scheme is valid for the students of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana state
- Underprivileged and underprivileged girls will get scholarship only
- Passed 10th class from local government school
- Passed 12th/Junior college exam from local government school
- Students who enroll in the graduation course from this academic session will be considered eligible for the scheme.
