Sarkari Nuakri: Bumper recruitment has come out in Uttarakhand for 12th pass candidates preparing for government job. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Commission (UKSSSC) uksssc.co.in.
A total of 751 vacancies will be filled for posts like Data Entry Operator (DEO), Computer Assistant-cum-Receptionist, Junior Assistant, Receptionist, Mate, Supervisor and Housing Inspector through this recruitment drive. The online application process started from October 11, which will run till November 1, 2024. The application correction window will open on November 5 and close on November 8. The exam will be held tentatively on January 19, 2025.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized university and must have typing experience for some posts. If we talk about the age limit, then the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 1st July 2024. However, reserved category candidates will be given maximum age relaxation as per government norms. Candidates are advised to read the UKSSSC Recruitment 2024 notification carefully before applying.

Application Fee
For candidates belonging to unreserved and OBC categories, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 300. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS (economically weaker section) or Divyang (differently abled) categories will have to pay a reduced fee of Rs 150. In particular, orphans are exempted from any fee and can apply for the exam free of cost.
Selection Process and Salary
The eligible candidates will be selected through objective type offline or online competitive examination. The recruitment exam date will be announced in due course. The pay scale of the selected candidates will be Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 under Pay Level-5.
