Interest rate for deposits less than Rs 10 lakh
The new rates are applicable on domestic savings account. The bank is giving the highest interest on deposits ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2 crore, the rates are 7 percent. 3% interest is available on deposits up to Rs 1 lakh and 6% interest on deposits between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 lakh.
This much interest is being received on deposits of more than 10 crores
6.25 percent interest is being received on deposits from two crores to 10 crores. At the same time, 6.50 percent interest is being received on deposits of 10 crores to 50 crores. The interest rates on savings account will be calculated on the basis of balance in the account at the end of the day. Explain that at present the bank is paying interest ranging from 3% to 7.85% on fixed deposits of 7 days to 10 years.
