New Delhi: In the digital age, the transaction of money online is gaining rapid expansion. People are thinking of withdrawing money from ATMs by not standing in the queues of banks, which saves time.
If you are a State Bank of India (SBI) customer then this news means a lot to you. SBI keeps on making new rules for its customers from time to time. If you withdraw cash from ATM, then definitely know the new rules.
Now SBI has made a new beginning to make ATM transactions more secure. In the new rule, customers can easily withdraw money from ATMs only on the basis of OTP.
Under this, customers will first get an OTP on their mobile phone to withdraw cash, only after entering which the money will be withdrawn. The bank has shared this information to its customers by tweeting.
Explain that these rules will be applicable on withdrawal of Rs 10,000 and above. Customers will be allowed to withdraw Rs 10,000 and above from their ATMs every time with an OTP and debit card PIN sent from their bank account to the registered mobile number.
Know the whole process
- You will need an OTP to withdraw cash from SBI ATM.
- For this an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- This OTP will be a four digit number that the customer will get for a single transaction.
- Once you have entered the amount you wish to withdraw, the ATM screen will be prompted to enter the OTP.
- You have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number registered with the bank in this screen for cash withdrawal.
