SBI Alert: SBI has asked customers to update their PAN card in the bank to continue international transactions. Know the whole way how to do this

New Delhi: SBI Alert: If you are a customer of State Bank of India (SBI) and do international transactions with debit card (SBI Debit Card) then this news is for you. SBI has said that if you want to continue international transactions without interruption with debit card, then you have to update your PAN number in the bank.

PAN updates can be done online-offline

SBI has said that you do not need to go anywhere to update the PAN number, you can also do this online and go offline to the bank branch. Let us tell you that last year, the Reserve Bank made some changes regarding the rules of international transactions.

SBI alerts its customers

SBI has given information about this on social media site Twitter. SBI has told its customers that ‘International transaction is causing problems? To enjoy foreign transactions without interruption through SBI Debit Card, update your PAN details in bank records.

Online registration process

The country’s largest bank SBI has more than 40 crore customers across the country. It has more than 22 thousand branches across the country. If you also have a debit card of SBI and use it for international transactions, then you can easily update your PAN details in the bank, here is the whole process.

1. First login to SBI Internet Banking, click on e service tab
2. There will be option of PAN registration, click it and open
3. Enter password and submit, all your accounts will appear here
4. Accounts PAN will not be registered. It will be click here to register in front of it
5. Click on the account in which you want to register PAN
6. After this the next page will open here you have to enter PAN card number and click on submit
7. After this your name on the screen , CIF and PAN number will come, check it and click on confirm
8.By clicking on the confirmation will come a high security password to your registered mobile number by entering it on the confirmation or
9. Then comes a message on your screen, where your request submission of the information
10. Bank processed within 7 days of your request Will do

Offline registration method

If you want to get PAN registered through offline mode, then you have to go to the bank branch and apply for it. Go to the bank and get a form, fill it and attach a photo copy of the PAN card and submit it. In this process a message will come on your mobile. In which PAN linking information will be given.
