This customer base of the bank is connected to 22,141 branches across the country. Not only this, State Bank of India was not the only one to celebrate its large customer base. Another Indian company Reliance Jio claimed in its recent tweet that its subscriber base is more than the population of the entire US.

How did SBI cross the segment in 2019-20?
According to SBI’s 2019-20 annual report, loan segments like SBI’s home, auto and other personal loans have improved between March 2019-20. The home loan portfolio grew to Rs 4.56 lakh crore, auto loans reached Rs 72,662 crore and other personal loan base stood at Rs 2.19 lakh crore on a year-on-year basis.
