Under this, he will lease 3,150 sq ft in a building near Jalsa, his family residence in Juhu. There are also Pratiksha, Janak, Ammu and Vats bungalows in Bachchan’s Juhu.
15 year lease
The bank will pay Rs 18.9 lakh as monthly rent for a 15-year lease. The rent will be increased by 25% every five years. This information appeared in documents accessed through real estate analytics and research company Zapkey.com. In the first five years, SBI will have to pay Rs 18.9 lakh every month. The rent will increase to Rs 23.62 lakh in the next five years and Rs 29.53 lakh for the last five years.
However, after such reports, Amitabh Bachchan and SBI have not given any reaction in this regard.
Bank gave security deposit of Rs 2.26 crore
The bank has paid a security deposit of more than Rs 2.26 crore, which is equivalent to one year’s rent. The agreement was registered on 28 September 2021. SBI will also open a branch in this place. This place was recently vacated by Citibank. For the deal, Rs 30 thousand was paid as registration charge along with stamp duty of Rs 30.86 lakh.
Real estate sector experts believe that the premium charged on this property is justified. He says that this property belongs to superstar Amitabh Bachchan, whose house is very close to it. It was necessary to charge a premium. Apart from this, it is an important place of Juhu area. The current lease rent in the area ranges from Rs 400 to 500 per square feet. Juhu is one of the most posh areas of Mumbai, where many Bollywood celebrities like Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Sunny Deol, Shatrughan Sinha and Rohit Shetty have their homes. Last year, actor Ajay Devgan bought a bungalow in this area, which is spread over 474.4 square meters. Devgan bought this bungalow in a deal of Rs 47.5 crores.
