SBI Customer alert! SBI banking service will be closed for 2 hours, settle the payment work, otherwise there will be problem

New Delhi: There is important news for SBI customers. Some services of the country’s largest government bank SBI (SBI Service down) will be closed for 2 hours on Sunday i.e. today. During this time SBI customers will not be able to do any transaction. State Bank of India has given this information by issuing an alert for this on Twitter.

SBI gave information

According to SBI, the services of Lite and Business app of YONO app will also be affected due to the shutdown of internet banking. SBI has said in its tweet that the maintenance work will be continued for two hours from 00.20 pm (October 10) on the night of October 9, 2021 and for two hours from 23.20 pm to 1.20 pm on October 10 (October 11). . Internet banking, YONO, YONO Lite, UPI-related work will be disrupted during these two hours. State Bank has said that this work is being done to provide good facilities to the customers.




How long will services be disrupted

Internet service will remain suspended on Sunday i.e. 10 October. Customers who have to do online payment or bank related work on Yono, they should settle first. According to SBI, the work related to internet banking will come to a standstill from 23.20 pm to 11.20 pm on Sunday night. SBI had given this information in a tweet on Thursday itself and alerted the customers.

Bank’s services were also disrupted earlier

Earlier on September 04, SBI’s YONO service was closed for about 3 hours due to maintenance work. Apart from this, services were also closed on 15 September. In the months of July and August also, SBI had stopped banking services due to maintenance. Usually the maintenance work is done at night, so not many customers are affected.

Country’s largest public sector bank

SBI’s internet banking service is used by more than 80 million people and mobile banking is used by about 20 million people. At the same time, the number of registered customers on Yono is 3.45 crores, on which about 90 lakh customers login daily.
