SBI said that the bank is increasing the security features of the YONO app, so that your money can be safe. SBI further said that the new upgrade of the YONO app will allow online banking facility to be used only by those customers who log into the bank through the registered mobile number.

Actually, the bank has taken this step to reduce the fraud from SBI YONO app. It has often been seen that fraudsters obtain the user name, password and other personal bank account details of the customers by duping them and then they use the same to log in to the app from their mobile to commit the fraud. SBI expects that with the implementation of the new rule, fraud cases will come down. So, be careful, the next time you try to access your SBI YONO account, ensure that you are using the mobile phone number registered with the bank without fail.
