State Bank of India customers will have to pay extra charges for withdrawing money from ATMs (SBI ATMs) and using checkbooks from July 1.

From July 1, bank customers will have to pay extra money for many of their works. The bank said that customers will have to pay extra charges for withdrawing money from ATM (SBI ATM) and using check book from the date. Customers will have to pay more for all these transactions from the first date onwards. Let us tell you which customers it will affect –
If you have a Basic Savings Account Deposit (BSBD) account in a government bank of the country, then all these new rules will be applicable to you and you will have to spend extra money. Let us tell you that these bank accounts are opened for the poor people. In this you can open an account without any charges.
Charges will have to be paid for transactions exceeding the prescribed limit.
Let us tell you that BSBD accounts are also called zero balance savings accounts. These account holders get an ATM-cum-debit card. If you have valid documents for KYC then you can easily open this account. BSBD account holders get four free cash withdrawals every month, which includes ATMs and bank branches. The bank will charge Rs 15 plus GST on every transaction after the free limit. Cash withdrawal charges will be applicable at home branches and ATMs and non-SBI ATMs.
How much will be charged on checkbook
If we talk about the charge on the check book, then in a financial year, 10 copies of checks are given to the customers. For this 10 check copy from 1st date, customers will have to pay Rs 40 plus GST charge. Apart from this, the bank will charge Rs 75 plus GST for 25 check leaves. Apart from this, emergency check book will attract Rs 50 plus GST for 10 leaves. At the same time, if we talk about senior citizens, then all these people will not have to pay new charges on the check book.
These new rules will be there for withdrawing money from ATM
Withdrawing money 4 times from SBI ATM or bank branch will be free. After this i.e. cash withdrawal after the free limit will attract a charge of Rs 15 and GST.
