The bank, through its official website, told the people about how to avoid fraud. Also, he was advised not to keep bank related information in his mobile.
According to the SBI website, cases of fraud are increasing rapidly across the country. In such a situation, even after forgetting the customers, the information related to their account should not be saved in the mobile. Especially those who save the ATM card PIN number, debit or credit card CVV or ATM details in their mobiles should delete all these things immediately, otherwise your data may be leaked.
Do not save online banking details
SBI cautioned customers that they should never save their online banking details on mobile or laptop. Because by doing this, criminals can hack your system and get your personal information easily. Which they can use wrongly. If you do not pay attention to it in time, then your bank account can be emptied. Therefore, do not save your picture by dragging your bank account number, password, ATM card number etc. Keep all these information confidential.
Do not use cybercafes
Many times people go to cyber cafes to tackle some important tasks due to lack of net in mobile. They deal with their banking work using the public internet there, but doing so is not at all safe. Because the transaction of money done from such places can be very heavy on you. Due to this, the risk of data leakage is highest. Therefore, do not use public internet at all.
Do not share ATM card
If someone asks you to look for an ATM card or takes your card under the help of you, do not share the ATM card with him at all. Because they can clone it by taking a picture or looking at the number. This can cause a dent in your bank account. So always avoid sharing such things.
