SBI customers will have to link their PAN (Permanent Account Number) with their Aadhar card by the end of this month i.e. by 30th September. Otherwise, they will not be able to take advantage of many banking facilities.
Aadhar-PAN Linking Date: State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s leading state-run bank, has issued an important notice for its customers. The customers of the bank will have to get their PAN (Permanent Account Number) linked with their Aadhaar card (Aadhaar-PAN Linking) by the end of this month i.e. by 30 September. Otherwise they may have to face many problems. Otherwise, they will not be able to take advantage of many banking facilities. SBI tweeted on its Twitter handle @TheOfficialSBI saying that if customers want to avail banking facilities without any hassle or inconvenience, then we recommend that they get their PAN card linked with Aadhaar. Earlier the last date for linking Aadhaar with PAN was March 31, 2021, but in view of Kovid-19, it was increased to June 30. Then again it has been extended till 30 September.Also Read: Baal Aadhaar: Things to keep in mind while enrolling children, you should also know
How to check whether your PAN is linked with Aadhar or not?
>> If you do not remember whether you have linked your Aadhaar with PAN or not, then this can also be checked. There is an easy process for this.
>> First of all go to the official website of Aadhaar, uidai.gov.in.
>> From here, go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab and click on ‘Check Aadhaar/Bank Account Linking Status’.
>> Here you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. Enter the security code and click on ‘Send OTP’ option.

>> After this you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number, by entering which you can log in. After login, you will know the status of Aadhar linking.
