New Delhi: The country’s largest bank SBI keeps on introducing new schemes from time to time, which also gets good response from the account holders. Now SBI has shared a big information, in which it has alerted the account holders.
According to the information of the bank, if the account holders do not link the PAN card with the Aadhaar, then many customer services will come to a standstill. The bank has also tweeted about this from its official Twitter handle.
SBI tweeted that ‘We advise our customers to link their PAN with Aadhaar to avoid any inconvenience and continue to enjoy a seamless banking service.

Along with this, the bank has said that it is necessary to link PAN with Aadhaar. If these are not linked, the PAN will become inactive and cannot be used for specified transactions. Let us tell you that in view of the Corona epidemic, the Central Government has extended the deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar from 30 September 2021 to 31 March 2022.

- A new page will open, where you have to fill PAN, AADHAAR and your name as mentioned in Aadhaar.
- If you have only year of birth in your Aadhar card, then tick the box of ‘I Have Only Year Of Birth In Aadhar Card’.
- Finally enter the captcha code or tick for OTP.
- After successfully verifying your details with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), your PAN-Aadhaar linking will be completed.
