SBI issues alert to crores of customers, these services will not be available with the bank

State Bank of India has issued an alert to customers about maintenance. On the night of May 21-22 and May 23, the services of the bank will remain closed for some time.




State banks of India have issued necessary alerts for their customers. The bank has informed that banking services will not be available for some time for two days for maintenance activities. SBI has given this information through official Twitter. In such a situation, SBI has requested its customers that they will not be able to use any banking service during this time.

SBI said in a tweet, ‘Maintenance activities will run from 22:45 pm on May 21 to May 22 at 01:15 pm and on May 23 from 02-40 am to 06:10 pm. Net banking, YONO, YONA Lite and UPI services will not be available during this period ‘

Last month too, the services of State Bank of India were disrupted due to maintenance activities. SBI periodically maintains its digital banking platform. During this time, digital banking customers do not get the benefit of services of YONO, YONO Lite, Internet Banking, Unified Payment Interface.

SBI is the country’s largest commercial bank
Explain that State Bank of India is the largest commercial bank in the country. This bank has a total of more than 22,000 branches, 57,889 ATMs available across the country. As on 31 December 2021, SBI’s Internet banking customers are 8.5 crore and mobile banking users are 1.9 crore. By the end of December 2020, the total number of UPI users of SBI was 13.5 crores.

Currently SBI YONO has a total of 3.5 crore registered users. It is because of such a large number of customers that SBI works in the night time maintenance so that at least the number of customers are affected.
