The bank has launched a dedicated website SBI Pension Seva for pensioners. It can also be used for internet banking facility.
State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a dedicated website SBI Pension Seva for more than 8.5 crore pension account holders. This is the first such portal so far. Where all the facilities for pensioners have been made online. The country’s largest bank SBI also has the largest pensioner base in the entire industry. What will be the advantage
Each of the beneficiaries has to submit the life certificate once every year to get the pension. But now SBI pension account holders can submit their life certificate or life certificate through this website. All SBI account holders can view all their pension related information like pension credit, interest deposit and balance information instantly by logging in online.
Many services available
Apart from submission of life certificate and balance checking, many more services are available such as downloading of arrears calculation sheet, pension slip or Form 16 can be done through this portal.
SBI says that pension profile details, information related to all types of investments like RD, FD, mutual funds etc. and status of life certificate can also be accessed through the pension portal. SBI Bank also provides personal loans based on the monthly pension amount (which is deposited in the bank). Know what are the additional benefits
Some more facilities like daily SMS alerts and monthly pension slips are also available through this portal.
Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS) and EPPO, CPAO provisions for pensioners are also available in the portal.
How can register
If you are a registered pension holder of SBI then you can avail this facility. First you have to create a user ID and enter your pension account number. Then enter your date of birth and branch code of the pension paying branch and register email id as submitted in the branch. Then enter a password and then confirm that password. Your pension account is ready to use.
