SBI fastag: The country’s leading government bank SBI has introduced a new Fastag for big vehicles. The purpose of introducing this Fastag is to prevent toll tax theft. This new Fastag is specially designed for vehicle category-4 (VC-04). This category includes cars, jeeps and vans. Apart from this, SBI has launched the country’s first MTS RuPay NCMC. How is SBI’s new Fastag special?
SBI announced this new Fastag during a press release on 30 August 2024. SBI said that this new Fastag will reduce the time taken at the toll. Apart from this, this Fastag will identify vehicle class-4 like van, truck and make the work of toll collection easier.
Along with this, it will help the toll plaza operator to identify the wrong toll tax paid by any vehicle. Due to which toll operators will be able to take immediate action against such vehicles. Along with this, taking the correct toll tax will reduce scams and the income of the government will also increase.
Country gets first MTS RuPay
Apart from bringing a new Fastag for VC-4 (VC- 04) category vehicles, SBI has also launched MTS RuPay NCMC prepaid card. Through this card, you will be able to easily make offline payments at all places including metro, bus, ferry, toll and parking. It can also be said that the purpose of this card is to provide offline payment for NCMC-enabled transit systems.
How will you get the benefit of MTS card
SBI has introduced the country’s first MTS RuPay card. MTS is also called Multi Transport System. MTS card will make it easier for passengers to travel. According to the information received about this, there is no need for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.
Along with this, users can top up the card without going to the metro or bus using SBI’s OneView app. Apart from this, SBI’s MTS RuPay NCMC will make the transit system easy and safe.
