SBI New Service: If your account is in State Bank of India (SBI), then this news will make you happy. Pensioners and senior citizens will soon be given a new facility by SBI. Elderly people of your house will also be able to take advantage of this facility. Under the new planning of the bank, the customer can be identified through the irises of the banking executive or at the Customer Care Center. The idea is going on to provide the identification facility ‘IRIS Scanner’ from SBI.

No need to visit home branch

With the facility of ‘IRIS Scanner’ near the bank executive, customers belonging to the senior citizen category will not need to visit the home branch. After this facility, they will be able to withdraw pension from their nearest ‘Bank Mitra’ center only. In a statement from SBI, it was said that it is trialling the option of installing ‘Iris scanner’ with its ‘Bank Mitra’ operators. This will reduce the challenges of senior citizen account holders and pensioners.

Trouble if fingerprints are not confirmed

With the help of ‘IRIS Scanner’, the identity of any person can be confirmed through the pupils of the eyes. Nowadays, a similar facility is used in all the offices to record the attendance of the employees. Recently, an elderly woman in Odisha’s Navrangpur district went to a bank friend to withdraw her pension. Here he had a lot of trouble because his fingers were not confirmed. It was also said on behalf of the bank that to avoid such a situation, possibilities of installing iris scanner are being explored.
