CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2023-24: Central Board of Secondary Education has brought a great opportunity to get scholarship. Here scholarships are available for college and university students. This is CBSE Central Sector Scholarship for which candidates can apply online only. If you have the required eligibility to apply, then fill the form in the prescribed format before the last date. Also know that the last date for both fresh application and renewal is 31 December 2023. These applications can be made not only for the year 2023-24 but can also be made for renewal of scholarships of previous years.
Who can apply
- To apply, it is necessary that the candidate has scored more than 80 percent marks in the 12th examination.
- It is also important that the enrollment of the candidate is in a regular programme. That means he should be doing a regular course and not a correspondence or distance course.
- The candidate should be from a family whose total annual income is less than Rs 4.5 lakh.
- It should also be kept in mind that the candidate is neither availing any other scholarship nor availing any facility like fee reimbursement from anywhere.
- Those candidates who are pursuing diploma course are not eligible for this scholarship.
What is written in the notice
In the notice issued in this regard, the board has written that, ‘Online applications have been started for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students for the year 2023-24. First renewal for the year 2022, second renewal for the year 2021, third renewal for the year 2020 and fourth renewal for the year 2019 can be done on the National Scholarship Portal.

Students are requested to complete their applications within the given time limit otherwise there will be problems.
