Bihar government is going to take an important initiative in this academic session, in which free educational kit will be provided to all the students who have Aadhar card and upload data on e-education portal.

Students studying in government schools are going to get a special gift before 15th August. These children will get a special gift before Independence Day. But this gift will not be given to the children of all schools. It will be given only to the children of those schools, whose details have been updated 100 percent on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. Actually, the Bihar government is going to take an important initiative in this academic session, in which all the students who upload Aadhaar card and data on the e-Shiksha portal will be provided free educational kit.

Students from first to twelfth will get this kit

According to Jamui District Education Officer Rajesh Kumar, this kit will be given to students from class 1 to class 12. The kit will include school bag, slate, white board marker, chalk, color set, drawing book and water bottle. This kit will be made available to all schools before 15th August and will be distributed among the eligible students by the school principal. He told Local 18 that the contents of the kit will vary according to the class. Children of class 1 will get school bag, slate, duster with marker, chalk, color set, drawing book and water bottle. Children of class 2 will get three types of note books, pencil, cutter, eraser, scale, pencil box, drawing book and a water bottle. Children of class 3 and 4 will also get similar material, which will also include color, pencil. Similarly, different types of kits have been prepared for children up to class 12.

Initiative has been taken to create better teaching system

The DEO told Local 18 that the aim of this initiative is to increase the enrollment and attendance of students in government schools in rural and urban areas. This step has been taken to transform the government education system into a model system. Soon all the schools in the district will be equipped with better resources, so that the quality of education and the studies of the students can be improved. It is worth noting that the department has given instructions to upload the details of the students of all the schools on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. The schools in which this work has been completed 100%, are now to be given this special gift package.
