Delhi Flood Updates: The water level of Yamuna in Delhi has crossed the level of 208.46 meters. There is so much water in the Yamuna river that the problem of waterlogging has come to the fore in many areas of the capital Delhi. In view of this, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena called a meeting of DDMA today, which is over. In view of the problem of water-logging in the meeting, it was decided that all the schools, colleges and universities in Delhi will be closed. It has been decided to keep all the schools, colleges and universities of Delhi closed till further orders. Apart from this, only offices providing essential services will open.

Work From Home given option
It has been decided in the DDMA meeting that all the schools and colleges of Delhi will remain closed till further orders. Apart from this, offices with essential services will remain operational. However, it has been decided to opt for Work From Home option for other employees. It has been said in the DDMA meeting that the private sector office employees have been instructed to work from home.
Entry of commercial vehicles prohibited in Delhi
After this meeting, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that there is going to be a shortage of water. In such a situation, it has to be seen that what other options can be seen for further preparations. Apart from this, it has been decided to close government offices in Delhi till Sunday. He further said that he will issue advisory for the private sector. Apart from essential goods, all other commercial vehicles will not be allowed to enter Delhi.
