School Closed: Due to the flood-like situation in the national capital, 10 schools located in the low-lying areas of Civil Lines area of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and seven schools in Shahdara area will remain closed on Thursday i.e. 13th July. The civic body has given this information on Wednesday. Let us inform that the water level of Yamuna in Delhi reached the level of 207.83 meters on Wednesday and in this way the record of 207.49 meters of 1978 was broken.
Regarding the closure of schools, the MCD said in a statement, “Due to the flood-like situation in Delhi, the education department of MCD has closed 10 schools in low-lying areas of Civil Lines area, six schools in Shahdara (South) zone and Shahdara (North) zone.” It has been decided to keep a school in the zone closed tomorrow. Online classes will be organized for the students of these schools.” Significantly, a holiday was declared on July 11 in Delhi MCD affiliated and aided schools.
Schools will remain closed here too

Keeping this in mind, the administration has declared holidays till July 17 in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. During this, all schools from class 1 to 12 will remain closed. Apart from this, orders have been given to keep schools closed till July 15 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. While in Muzaffarnagar, it has been decided to keep the school closed till July 16 due to the Kanwar Yatra.
