School Holiday: Holiday has been declared in schools, Uttarakhand’s Haridwar, from this point of view Kanwar Mela. As per the order, according to Haridwar District Magistrate Dhiraj Garbyal, the schools will remain closed for all classes from July 10 to 17. However, the CBSE compartment exams scheduled during this period will be conducted as per the scheduled date and time.

District Magistrate Dhiraj Garbyal says, “In view of the Kanwar fair, the District Magistrate has decided to keep all schools and Anganwadi centers closed from July 10 to 17.”

The Haridwar school holiday order is applicable to all private, government schools and Anganwadi centres. The SDM and other officials have been directed to ensure that the orders are followed by the schools..

The Kanwar Mela in Haridwar is scheduled to run from July 4 to July 15 and Somvati Amavasya will be celebrated on July 17. In view of the crowd and traffic in the city, the administration decided to close the schools.

The district administration held a meeting before the Kanwar Mela 2023 and after discussion with the officials, the DM announced the closure of the school. In view of the heavy rush, many routes will be changed.

Schools, colleges and all other educational institutions of Muzaffarnagar in UP will remain closed from July 8 to July 16 due to the Kanwar Yatra. District Magistrate Arvind Mallappa Bengari said all schools and colleges, including private institutions, have been ordered to remain closed from July 8 to July 16 in view of the Kanwar Yatra in the district.
