School Closed: Schools up to 8th will remain closed on Saturday and Monday, orders issued

School Closed: Due to Kanwar Yatra in Badaun district, route diversion will be implemented on the main roads from Friday night to Monday night. Due to this, children will face difficulty in reaching school. Due to this, holidays have been declared on Saturday and Monday in schools from class one to eight.

School Closed: In view of the month of Sawan in Badaun district, BSA has declared holiday on Saturday and Monday in all council, recognized, aided schools up to class eight. At the same time, instructions have also been given to teachers and employees to participate in the plantation campaign to be held on a large scale on July 20.

Lakhs of Kanwariyas will keep coming and going from Kachla Ganga Ghat of the district throughout Sawan. In view of their safety, on the instructions of the government, DM Nidhi Srivastava has implemented route diversion on the main roads. Due to route diversion, teachers and children will have difficulty in reaching school.

Keeping this in mind, on the instructions of the DM, District Basic Education Officer Virendra Kumar Singh has given instructions to keep the schools from class one to eight running under the Basic Education Department closed. He said that all council recognized, aided and primary and upper primary schools will remain closed every Saturday and Monday in the month of Shravan.

Teachers demanded leave

Due to the Kanwar Yatra, there will be problems in transportation from Friday to Monday. It will also be difficult to reach school. Raising this issue, members and officials of the Teacher Shiksha Mitra Instructor Employees United Front gave a memorandum to the District Officer’s office on Friday afternoon.

In the memorandum, like years, this year also a demand was made to declare a holiday for every Saturday and Monday in the holy month of Shravan. Among those who gave the memorandum were District President Arun Pandey along with Premanand Sharma, Farhat Hussain, Surendra Singh, Kiran Singh, Pratik Dubey, Harish Dinkar, Rajendra Singh Yadav, Chakresh Kumar etc.

Five zones and 16 sectors created for the security of Kanwar Yatra

The security system from Kachla Ganga Ghat to the city has been divided into five zones and 16 sectors. In this, five COs, 13 station in-charges, 21 inspectors, 100 sub-inspectors, 161 head constables, 393 constables, 91 women police personnel and 374 home guards have been deployed in the security system.
