School Holiday 2024: In Panipat, holidays have been declared in all government, semi-government and private schools up to class 5 from November 18 till further orders.
School Holiday 2024: There is news of work for school students. Today, on November 20, schools will remain closed due to by-elections on nine assembly seats of UP. These include Karhal, Sisamau, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Majhawan, Katehari, Khair and Meerapur. Holiday has been declared in schools today on Wednesday due to by-elections in Barnala, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur and Sri Muktsar Sahib districts of Punjab.
Aligarh Muslim University and all its schools will remain closed on November 20. Due to increasing pollution, orders have been given to close schools in Gautam Buddha Nagar till November 23, all classes will run online. Schools will remain closed in Meerut till further orders. Holiday has been declared from 20 to 23 November for children up to class V in all government and non-government schools of Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan. Orders have been issued to close schools from 20 to 22 November due to the organization of army recruitment in Pithoragarh too.
Schools closed due to pollution in Haryana
- Due to rising pollution, all classes up to 12th standard will remain suspended from 19 to 23 November in Gurugram district on the instructions of Haryana Director of Secondary Education.
- All classes up to 5th standard will remain closed from 19 to 23 November in all areas (urban and rural) of Bhiwani.
- Holidays have been declared in all government, semi-government and private schools up to 5th standard in Panipat from 18 November till further orders. The Deputy Commissioner has been given the authority to temporarily close schools up to class 5. At present, it has been decided to keep primary schools of Gurgaon, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak closed. Karnal DC Uttam Singh has ordered holidays in all private and government schools up to 5th standard.
Schools closed in Delhi/Noida too
- In view of the rising pollution, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has decided to close schools up to class 12th till further orders. All classes will run online. Among the NCR districts, the administration has decided to close schools up to class 12th in Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Noida.
- All schools in Noida have been ordered to be closed till 23 November 2024. Ghaziabad District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh has also decided to run classes up to 12th in online mode till further orders due to the rising level of pollution and the implementation of GRAP 4.
