School Holiday: After Ghaziabad, the district administration in Gautam Budh Nagar has also declared a holiday for children in all schools. The order said that all schools are closed till August 2.
School Holiday: After Ghaziabad, schools of all boards from class 1 to class 12 have been closed in Gautam Budh Nagar district too. Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has ordered all schools from class 1 to 12 to remain closed. Noida administration has taken this decision in view of Kavad Yatra. The administration said that from 31st to 1st, all government and private schools from class 1 to 12 will not conduct physical classes.
What was said in the order?
Gautam Budh Nagar district administration ordered in view of security and traffic during the Kanwar Yatra that on the instructions of the District Magistrate in view of the Kanwar Yatra, all the schools of all boards from class 1 to 12 in the district will not run physically from 31st July to 1st August. These classes will run virtually. Also, a holiday is declared in all schools on 2nd August.
Ghaziabad schools closed
Yesterday, the administration had announced a holiday in all the schools of Ghaziabad due to traffic diversion in various parts of Ghaziabad district, that all schools will remain closed from 29th July to 2nd August. All schools were instructed to strictly follow this order. Earlier, the district administration of many districts of UP, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Meerut, Varanasi and Saharanpur have closed all schools till 2nd August. As per the order of the district administration of all these places, all the schools recognized by primary, higher primary, secondary, CBSE, ICSE and UP Board will be kept closed.
According to media reports, about 1.25 crore Kanwariyas have set out from Haridwar and other ghats carrying Gangajal to offer water to Baba Bholenath. In view of this, keeping in mind traffic diversion and safety of students, schools in these districts have been declared closed till August 2.
