School Holiday: It is known that the Telangana Education Department has recently issued orders declaring holidays to many educational institutions in the state on August 29 and 30.
School Holiday: The unemployed are asking the government to postpone the Group 2 exam in these two days from the last fortnight. This exam should be held in October or November. It is in this context that petitions were presented after meeting the ministers and MLAs.
Several MLAs have also mentioned this in Telangana monsoon meetings. However, CM KCR clarified this. The CM said that the Group 2 exam will be held on the announced dates.
In this background, the Commission has intensified the arrangements to conduct the examination. In this regard, meetings were held with the District Collectors regarding the administration, arrangement and other matters related to the examination.
Apart from this, the Schools and Education Department has also issued orders declaring those two days as holidays. However leaves will be granted only to the students studying in the selected exam centers to conduct this exam.
Around 5.5 lakh candidates have applied for the TSPSC recruitment exam on August 29 and 30 for the Group-2 posts. Four papers with two papers per day. These exams will be conducted for two days.
