School Holiday: As soon as the month of August begins, holidays have also started. This month there are big festivals like 15th August, Raksha Bandhan and Krishna Janmashtami and in such a situation, the relief for school children and employees is that both these festivals are coming on the weekend. Due to which people will get rest for several consecutive days. In such a situation, there will be public holidays across the country on these days.

However, students will have many days to rest as August also has many culturally significant holidays that are important for stakeholders. Unlike July, which had almost no holidays, students will get many school holidays in August 2024, which will provide opportunities to relax between their ongoing classes and school activities.

Schools across India will have holidays for Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi and Krishna Janmashtami. Additionally, in the middle of the month, India will celebrate its 77th Independence Day, which is a national holiday during which schools, colleges and other institutions will remain closed.
