On the instructions of Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, the Education Department has also issued an order. This order will be applicable to all government and non-government schools, so now all government and non-government schools in the state will remain closed till June 25 and will open from June 26. Earlier these schools were to open on June 18. CM Vishnu Dev Sai wrote on social media platform X that keeping in mind the health of the children in the scorching heat, instructions have been given to extend the date of opening the school by one week from June 18.
Order of Chhattisgarh School Education Department
In the order issued by the Chhattisgarh Government School Education Department, it has been said that in view of the possibility of adverse effect on the health of the students due to the severe heat and heat wave in the state, summer vacation was declared from 22 April 2024 to 15 June 2024 for government, aided, non-aided schools, but keeping in mind the heat and the adverse effect on the health of the students, the state government has extended the period of summer vacation from 16 June 2024 to 25 June 2024. Schools will start from 26 June.
